are those pretty good they are the 250 r's everyone talks about right?

 

depends on the condition.if it is in good running condidion its a good deal.the 250r's everybody talks about is the TRX250R made by honda.

 

Thats a good deal if its in good shape, be sure to check the frame and swingarm for cracks.

 

Welp, I bought an 87 LT500 for $1500, and I think it was worth maybe $300, but I knew what I was getting into (let's just say Maine isn't a hot spot for old Zilla's). I wouldn't expect a whole lot, but it should be rideable, and be sure to check for cracks like mahnster said and other fatal boo-boos. Most stuff can be easily replaced.....

 

sounds like a pretty good deal to me just make sure that you ride it first and make sure it goes through all the gears smoothly and that there are NO cracks in the frame or swing arm. I would also be cautious of rusty welds obviously they are not as strong.

 

I got my lt500 for $800 and it came with a BUNCH of extra parts. I bought it as a basket case to try to make some money, and it looks as such.

 

if i were you i would check this out, you might have to worry bout shipping thought, seems like a deal...
