Default Z400 Pipe, where to buy a CT?

My buddy is looking to buy a CT Racing pipe for his 2003 Z400. I've gone to the CT web site, but was wanted to know where any of you current CT pipe owners have bought theres at and how much was it?

Thanks

I got mine from CT's website. I think it was $500.95 shiped.

I thought I read that they changed the headpipe added low end, but I'm not sure.

I met you at silver lake last weekend, didnt I?

Just to let you know, I have a K&N with no lid, 160 mj, stock needle(runs better for me than dynojet that came with the pipe), stock pilot, about 2.5 turns out on the air screw(dont remember exactly).

The float bowl screws are a pain to get out, they want to strip right away. I used a small chisel and hammer to turn it out. I have heard of people using an impact screwdriver.

Had a little trouble getting the stock pipe off, mess with it enough and you will be able to slide it out(its tight). I guess some people just cut it to get it out. I would guess it will take about 2 hours. If I had to do it again I would say I could change it within 1 hour.

I also had to wait for my pipe(they were sold out), it took about a month. But it was well worth the wait, Im very happy with mine.

Yea the float bowl screws suck.I had to take my roto zip and cut me a deeper slit to get the screws out. Also had to remove the fan and some hoses to get the stock pipe off.Even though I have a different pipe should be about close to the same on instal.

I just ordered a pipe this morning and they said they'll have some ready to ship tomorrow. After I got those piece of crap phillips head screws out the first time with an impact driver, I went down to Napa and bought some allen head screws to replace them. Now I can remove the float bowl in seconds. Just a thought next time you have to take them out.
