Default powervalve cap

anybody have a parts quad that they would take there powervalve cap off and sell me.the **** on mine is broke.it is the aluminum adjuster that you twist to adjust the powervalve.i need one asap.thanks

Default powervalve cap

i will.are the caps the same?how do you get the cap out?it seems to be pressed in there.i really need a new one bad.mine has a huge hole in the top of it where i was trying to make a screwdriver slot.i dont know how to get the old one out?

nevermind.i figured out how to to get it out.but if anybody has a parts bike or engine and wanna sell me the cap that would be great.without that my rebuild is usless.

hey man if you cant find one asap you really dont need it to ride just put the spring in place and broken cap and dont push the cap in all the way spin it 360 degress counter clockwise to give the spring the tension it needs to close powervalve after u let off the throttle which book specs what i just told ya i believe and then push in all the way and tighten the screws u might wanna oil the o ring to that will wrk until u get the new one and if you loosen the 2 screws next time it wont break i did same thing lol

i bought it broke.id didnt have the little plate witht the screws over it when i got it eaither.so i guess i need to get that too.the cap has a hole all the way through it.i can look through it and see the spring when its on the motor.wouldnt it suck in air or anything? leak exhaust?

ahhh never seen one break like that shoot me email tommorrow i have a broken cap but soild and the plate u can have ,u will need the screws less i kept them ill look shon_in_mich@yahoo.com
