anyone know what the review is of the rm style linkage on the 91-92 lt's? did any quad mags review them and what did they say? also anyone run the 86 rm cylinder on there lt? is it worth it or is a ported 92 jug better?? lastly can a 86 rm electrionics work with a 92 lt? or what year rm if one does? what's everybody's thoughts?

can I ask you a question? Are you bored or something? You ask these stupid questions and have one of the nicest LTs. Is that LT in your BIO yours or one you wish you had. Why would you want a RM linkage on your quad? would a ported 92 cylnder be better than a 86RM cylnder? Get real!It wont even fit unless you spent major $ to have modified to fit. Ive never actually seen it done. will a dirtbikes stator fit the LT? WTF I take it you have this 86RM that your dying to part out or something. If that quad in your BIO is yours JUST RIDE IT. one of the nicest I have seen in here besides mine.LOL

PS dont come back in a few days with will a honda kicker gear work on my LT so I can kickstart it fowards instead of backwards.

wow kdog...you really need to lay off a little...the 86 RM jug is a direct fit, and is supposed to have alot better port specs than the LT's...But i wouldnt say its better than a ported 92. If it was an 86 RM ported vs a 92 LT ported, then i bet it would be the RM still. The RM linkage on the later LT's was supposed to be much better than the earlier years...i have never rode a newer one but i just know that it is supposed to be better. I have no clue about the electronics though, i have heard of people with TRX250R's that has CR ignition systems, but never heard of an LT with RM ignition...Hope i helped a little...
Heres a link to the site with the 86 RM jug on the LT...click on "comparative port map 92 LT vs 86 RM jug"

Hey I said I was sorry 800.
I saw the story before about the 86JUG on LT and yes it bolts on but no one ever tried it, did you read the whole thing? I didnt see where anyone tried it? Im sure the guys at suzuki made things better 6 yrs later for the LT or they would have used that cylnder as would have saved money. And all the aftermarket perormance places like CT,Duncan,Trinity,LRD etc would be doing that mod if it was any good! I guess you could go buy a 86RM cylnder for 25 bucks and see if it works? doubt its gonna be better then your ported 92.

but I dont know anything and I should get more info before I open my mouth. LOL
