05 King Quad Purchase
Well the best price I found was for $7525 including the winch installed and the 4 year extended warranty. They had 2 units (Red and Green) on the sales floor. The red one which I would've chosen over the green had scuff marks on the plastic and handlebars. I expect to get those after riding, but I wasn't pleased to see them on the quad that was just put together. I counter offered them $7300 and they let me walk out the door. They also wouldn't let me take the sales write up with me. I took this as a sign of a dealer to stay away from.
After thinking it through I'm going to stick with my 2000 King Quad for another year. I guess I just got cold feet when it came to spending that much on a new quad. It's hard to swallow. Maybe some used ones will start popping up this spring.
Thanks again for the information everyone.

WOW! In yesterday's classified's ATV section of the Mpls/St.Paul Star Tribune, Anoka Ramsey Sport Center was advertising new 2005 King Quad 700s for only $6295!! They also advertised the Twin Peaks at $5795. Apparently, they are discontinuing thier line of Suzuki ATVs. They also carry Bombardier and Kawasaki. Not sure if they are loosing everything, or just Suzuki. I just got my KQ three weeks ago from another local dealer and paid $500 more. Guess good things come to those that wait.
