Default Z-400 revving problem - need help

I have a new 2005 ltz-400 that will not rev. It starts fine and idles, but will not rev, it will stall if I give it gas. If I choke it, it will rev alittle, but not much. It;s going back to the dealer, but I was wounder what it could be? It seems like a carb problem. Any ideas?

if its not very old I would take it back to the dealer and have them fix it
if you have had it a while sounds like your fuel system is dirty

Default Z-400 revving problem - need help

It was brand new and I did take it back. At first when the deal got it, it ran good. I told them to try it later. As it turned out, there was junk in the petcock of the gas tank. If the gas was stirred up, it ran, but after it settled it would not. It was like that on another 2005 they had just received. The dealer was great, picking up the bike, fixing it and delivering it.
