cracked cylinder on lt500

Default cracked cylinder on lt500

Mine was caused by my doing,I drilled a hole in the rightside of the intake to put a threaded fitting in it for a snomobile fuel pump.The vibration from riding at the club and the wieght of the hose and fitting started the crack,I'l never do that again.I think as long as you make sure the nut's are torqued down to spec's and checked every now and then it won't crack on ya.

just got my cylinder back from being welded up and looks like it is going to work anyways hope so thanks for the info.

Keep an eye on it,mine looked good too and it still cracked.

yeah im sure it wont last long as long as it get me through this saturday and ill do something differnt

oh s%$*t boys does she run like a champ man it must of had problems from the beginning but one problem it took forever to get the water pupming there was a lot of pressure when you would take the bolt loose on the water pump but finally got it.
