water leak on z400

Default water leak on z400

Anyone had a water pump bolt leak out antifreeze around it. the one on the very bottom.

Whats up buddy, i had the same problem, but it was before i sent it into yoshi. so they fixed it , but i am sure it must be the gasket.

is it the weep hole under the engine right next to the radiator hose where its leaking?

It looks like it is coming out around a bolt. on the sidecover on the bottom

Default water leak on z400

you might have to pull the bolt out and use liquid teflon on the bolt
thats what we do on chevy 350 head bolts that are in water jackets
to stop the coolant from seeping around the threads
or you have a small crack at the bottom
and you might have a bad gasket
