No way a stock Quadsport can beat a Blaster. Maybe if you throw a couple of mods at the Quadsport.....

My 86 quadsport has beat everything from blasters to 300ex's to mojaves. These were mostly drag races, not any MX. I have beat them all in the woods.

i guess it all depends on the guy on the blaster. there is no doubt that a blaster is faster than a quadsport but if the rider can't ride very well then he is going to get beat by the qs.

yo i got a 92' blaster and a 87' quadsport the quadsport has cobra exhaust and nerfs and the blaster has dg exhaust aktive reeds reed spacer and some other small mods and my 230 is faster than the blaster and has more power i always ride the quadsport when i ride with my friends who have dirtbikes because it's faster and has a hell of alot more torque.

So you`re saying I shouldn't trade my '93 Quadrunner230 for a Blaster?

There is no way that a 230 quadsport can keep up with a blaster in any terrian.I have a blaster and it does great in the woods it has made it up every hill that I have ever tried. and I climb alot of hills.and I know that it is defintly not faster because when my quad was stock I could eaat a 300ex alive and easily stay with a Warrior .

So the blaster may be faster on the first lap in the woods. But with drum front brakes, mechanical rear the 230's gonna be able to go its fullest in the woods because it has 3 hydraulic disc and so it would be less tiring. So like I said I'll take on any blaster in the woods.heck no i wouldn't trade my 230 for a blaster even if it didn't have a clucth.

Even though the blaster has mechanical brakes doesn't mean that a 230 (four stroke) can beat it
Like I said I can easily keep up with a Warrior and they have hydrolic discs all the way around so what is the big deal with hydrolic disc brakes. Anyway I don''t have to worry about a 230 keeping up with my blaster anyway because a 230 doesnt have enough power to climb the hills that i do.
