Thanks 'rage-
About the only negative I have heard about the mud lites is that they wear out quicker.
A buddy of mine had 27" lites on his Foreman 450, and they were about the only thing that didn't break. He now has 28" Maxxis 589s on his 04 Grizzly. I have been impressed with the ride and traction of both tires, but was wanting an opinion from a fellow 'zuki rider as to everyday use.

well, he has the Grizzly's 660 engine to pull them, so why not?
As for serious muddin'...no, he doesn't have it snorkeled, and is afraid of voiding his warranty if he floods the belt-driven auto tranny. (another reason I went with the 5-speed....less to worry about when crossing a stream)

I have be running the 27" ITP 589 for about a year. Most of my riding is agressive in the mountains, lots of climbs, mud, swamp. I am very impressed with the ride and traction, ride is very good on pavement as well. The tires don't rip your arms out when the fronts dig in. Overall I would highly recommend, they are also wearing very well. One thing though, when going to bigger tires you lose some power. Putting in a clucth kit certainly is the way to go.
