Default 2005 Polaris Sportsman 400 or Suzuki Eiger 400?

I am looking at a 2005 Suzuki Eiger 400 and Polaris Sportsman 400. I never owned an atv and will be using it to ride trails and plow driveway. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated...thx

If you ask this question on the Polaris forum you will get a vote for the Sportsman.

However, since you asked here just go with the Eiger...

Unless you need the extra ground clearence of IRS, save some money and get an Eiger.

I know a bunch of guys with Polaris's and they seem to be in the shop more than on the trails. My Eiger has had 1 small problem, A little to lean carburation in cold weather and I fixed that with a $3 main jet. My nephew has a 700 Polaris and I go everywhere he does and he's starting to hate his ride as it is gone through 3 belts,2 fuel injectors,1 fuse box and 1 CV joint. I'm not trying to bash Polaris but....

Go with the Eiger! my friend has a eiger and his friend has a polaris and it has more repairs and digouts (he only rode it 4 times) than the eiger had has! And you can Save some money to trick it out! And the Eiger has 1800 miles!
