Default Utility quad 70 mph?

I've had my KQ to 70 and 71 twice... My buddies 450R still went past like I was standing still... LOL At least I had the sense not to try and race him...

I got my kQ to 72 on the speedometer, but my GPS was only reading around 65 and i still had some left in the engin, just not a smoot road to go faster. I would say it would go close to 70. Love this Quad what a great ride

You have to remember top speed isn't everything. Acceleration is more of a factor here. Yes most of the big bores have top speeds in the mid-to-upper 60's but their acceleration is not going to match the fastest sport quads. Take this for example. My SP500 will go top out at 60mph. A Warrior will also go right around 60 but the Warrior is way faster then the Sportsman. They both have around the same top speed, but the warrior has a lot more acceleration so it would kill me in a drag race. A quad is limited to a top speed of 75mph because of government regulations. Remember this is stock 4-wheelers. You could always change the gearing to have a higher top speed.
