Default PROBLEM AFTER REJETT OF EIGER

I rejetted my eieger last week and rode on the weeked. The machine is running good except for when it idles and when i barely push the throttle it wants to die out. As soon as I give it a little more gas it runs fine. It also seems to be running a little hot and when Rode hard for a few hours straight it died. I used the dj 118 jet out of the dyno jet kit. It was the one the kit said to use. I have a stock machine with a k&n air filter. Any suggestions to help the idle and barely pushing the gas would be great.

Check for vacumn leaks, like around the intake hose . Is everything tight ?Sounds like a lean condition.

What position is the neeedle set at? The needle controls the fuel just off of idel and just before WOT.
I put the DJ kit in my Eiger and had no problems with it.

The Eiger comes with a 122 jet and you put a 118 in? I put a 126 jet in from the dealer and it's been running great.

The Dynojet jets are sized differently than stock, so a stock 126 is not necessarily bigger than a DJ 118. but it still sounds lean to me too. You might see if the problem goes away with the choke about half on. If so, then you can probably just set the idle mixture a little richer.

Thanks. How does your eiger run with the 26" tires and jet kit. I also have the 26"ers, but really seem to have lost a bunch of power.

The jet kit helped a lot but the clutch kit made a bigger impact. Higher Rpm clutch engagement, faster backshifting (which really helps on long hills), and the rpms runn a lil higher.

I also found when I cleaned out the clutch and the rollers that she ran a lil better too.
