Default Install jet kit w/o removing carb on Eiger?

Just curious of those who have installed a jet kit on an Eiger. Will I have to remove the carb or will I be able to rotate it enough to replace the needle jet. If not, how do I unhook the choke cable? Thanks for the feedback!

yes, you can rotate the carb. The choke cable is easier to remove if you take off the gas tank. When you finish up make sure the choke cable is free. Sometimes the cable gets jammed and then you wont be able to get er runnin rite. B careful removing the top screws, they strip easily. Don't tear the rubber piece in the carb either, big$$$$$$$ to replace.

You'll love the difference the jet kit will make. Good luck!

Thanks for the feedback eiger2. Would you mind providing specifics as to how I unhook the choke cable from the carb? Also, where is the rubber piece located in the carb? I thought I just dropped the float bowl and unscrewed the main jet to replace. Thanks again!

The choke cable has a nut that holds the cable to the carb. The rubber diaphram is in the top of the carb and it needs to be removed in order to replace the needle. The stock needle is nonadjustable and the 1 in the kit has slots to raise or lower according to how yer machine performs. The kit explains how.
