another way to tell what year it is is to to look at the swing arm, if the back of it is sort of a roundish shape then its 86 or 85, if its square then it 87 or up

Default 250r help

Got this 88 lt250r got it running great but......no brakes. Master cylinders are seized, bad. Any tricks on getting the plungers out. I've already used compressed air no budge. Next I will probably drill and tap.

My front master cly. on my 86 was leaking. I had an extra one from a Banshee that bolted right on and works great. You can find them all over Ebay for cheap.

That may be my alternative root. Would like to keep it some what stock though.
