Twistgrip Throttle
#1
I am considering fitting a motion pro twistrgrip throttle conversion on the LTZ250. The atv has handguards mounted using the end of the handlebar and I wonder how this works if the twistgrip is fitted - anyone know? I have to keep the handguards as my turn indicators are fitted to them (road registered quad).

Should work fine. Well on second thought I'm not sure. Can you get a good pic of the throttle conversion installed? Or call the company that sells/makes them. If the grip still uses the factory handgrip endcap (and it should), it should work. But most twist throttle's I've seen don't use an endcap on their grips.

It is the same thing as a dirtbike. it may be dangerous if your not used to twist throttles. Personally i will never run a thumb throttle on any of my quads. (just my preference). As long as you make sure the twist throttle is not binding at all after installation you'll be fine.

Its not the handguard that hes talking about its twistgrips on atv's in general as he feels you dont have the same control as with the thumb throttle.
