Default Eiger problems?

There were a couple of issues on the first year models ('02) that have been corrected. Many Eiger owners are still recommending adding an in-line fuel filter. I've not added a filter to mine and have had no problems at all.

Basically they are two class-leading quads that are also tops in reliability.

Default Eiger problems?

The only prob with mine was when the 2wd/4wd shifter broke due to the cable being corroded/seized. Fortunately it was covered under warranty. I bought my 02 in Feb03 so I imagine it sat outside for many days. No problems since.

Default Eiger problems?

2 full seasons on my Eiger and the only problem was a bit of dirt in the carb because of the poor air filter. I installed a Z400 adapter and UNI filter from Noss Machine and cured that problem.

It's been a very reliable and fun ATV.
