owned several and ridden most. the kq is by far the easiest steering 4x4 on the maket today. definatly get some aftermarket tires that fit your coditions. some wives in our group ride kodiaks and one has the new 450 with irs and they are fine machines but for steering and for sure gc go with the kq. good luck and safe riding.

I don't know about the King Quad but a set of tires like Wetlands, Bighorns, or one of the other non bias ply tires will lighten up the steering a good bit and may help you out a bit.

I agree with the others. The steering on the new King Quad is very easy. You would make a good choice if you wanting an ATV that steers easy.

What size did you go on the Bears, and do you like them and for what reasons over some of the other tires?

I've rode all three and the king quad has the easiest steering hands down. I've owned 2 polaris sportsmen,s, grizzly, 2 kodiaks , 4oo outlander, and a king quad . It turnes easier and sharper than all of them and rides much better also! Test drive them for yourself

Someone on this forum put a steering stabilizer on his KQ. You might want to do a search on that.
I have a Pep Stabilizer on my zilla and what a difference it makes. Just wondering if it would work on a king.

I just bought the KQ a few weeks ago and was surprised at how easy and tight it turned. Seemed lighter and tighter than the polaris and Grizzly to me.
