Hmmm.....thats weird. Ive never heard anybody complain about the KQ 700's handling. From what i hear its the best handling irs quad out there. Maybe your just too used to the 450r or somethin. Keep in mind it is a utility and a big utility at that, and has irs.

Have you tried riding anyone elses king? I know it can be a little light steering but Ive yet to have the bars ripped and Ive hit some stuff pretty hard. I just wonder if some thing is up with yours?

For aggressive riding the KQ does not handle well, but in most other cases it does well. I raced mine and did not like the feeling of it. Dived way to much and that twitchy feeling flying by trees within inches of you is not a great feeling. There were 3 of us racing KQ's in GNCC. I was the first to switch, then 2 races later another left, then finally the one that had a free ride on the KQ gave up on it. So if you ride aggressive a lot, IMHO you will not like the KQ. But for most it does well for them.

The King Quad does not handle like a Rincon no matter what anybody tells you. I have owned both and can say that for a fact. If Honda would just add some power to the Rincon, that would be the machine to own. But since that is not the case, I'll stick with my King. Best all around machine for most situations.
Several guys I know have added the Highlifter front springs to their King. It does help a lot but will stiffen your ride. That is the main reason I haven't added them to mine.
If you are concerned about the twitchyness, there have been a few guys that have added the Z400 steering stabilizer to their Kings. It is an easy bolt on and they claim it does help. Just look around at the various boards. You will find several posts on the subject.
