Mike545,
I know this is an old thread but....The KQ is definely not the worst handling quad ever...not even close.. I had a Sportsman 400 that handled terrible compared to my KQ...I couldn't even make a turn without going on three wheels so I don't know where your coming from, it's the best handling quad I've ridden...remember one thing when taking turns you really shouldn't exceed 15mph in a sharp turn on a quad because quads aren't built for sharp turns!

just for conversation sake, i know of 4 racers that were given kq's, after a couple of races they gave them back. look thru the threads im not the only one who had flipped or had problems with the steering, all i know is the rincon does handle better and safer, but the kq does have alot of pluses over the rincon..02

.......Mike.....don't brake while in a turn.....especially a sharp one. This is a basic tenant in riding a quad......get the steering wheels straight, THEN apply needed braking.
Braking in a corner is the quickest way to get a good look at the sky.

Mike,
The Rincon does handle better than the KQ, but not with OEM tires. Mine ha a tendency to dive the nose in corners. Since putting on ITP ATR's, not problem!

I don't know why anyone would give a quad back or why they'd be racing a utility quad in the first place; and the Rincon probably handles better in your opinion because it's so slow, the less speed the easier it is to handle!

It's called racing GNCC. The KQ does good for most normal riders, but when pushed they handle like crap. I had and raced a KQ. In fact I was one of the first 2 to ever race one but the KQ could not stand up to the aggressive riding. I switched to the SP800 and did much better and was more confident the on the KQ. Again tho, for most the KQ will do fine.

To say a KingQuad is the worst handling quad ever is absolutely ridiculous. Period.

I know you've already gotten your Rincon, but you can't tell me you aren't missing the power of the King. No matter how much money it would cost to get the stabilizer, adjust caster (which is cheap, actually) or whatever, I would do it if I had that much of a problem with the handling (which I don't). Now that I have the ability to go 70+mph and get there in a hurry, with the potential in the future to be able to ride killer wheelies, I won't give it up.
