yea i posted a thread about this a couple of days back and the problem is still happening. as soon as i start it up white smoke comes out the exhaust and continues when i give it gas. does any body kno what the prblem could be. i really need to fix this soon kause im going riding with my friends and family soon. any help is greatly appreciated.

white smoke means your running too lean (i think) you should check your jetting

 

Sounds like a jetting isue. Check your sparkplug. It should be a tannish color. If it it white, your too lean. If it is black your rich.

 

jetting really doesnt just majically change though so check ur carb for clogs and even ur airfilter, even though thats not major enough to mess w/ ur mix (unless its impermeable) but that would make it too rich

 

yea there really shouldnt be any thing that messed with my jetting. ill check my carb in the morning. thx for the help

When's the last time you did air filter maintenance. The first time i did mine I sopped on wayyyy to much oil. It made my bike blow white smoke for about 50 miles. I figured the worst thing the extra lubrication would do would be to dampen performance a little.
