break in on a 06 vinson auto

Default break in on a 06 vinson auto

hey guys need some advice on the best way to break in the motor on my new 06 vinson, and if i need to have the valves adjusted after the first 10 hours of operation, any help would be great

Default break in on a 06 vinson auto

i took 10 hrs on mine, dont go past half throttle. when you drive put the throttle half way untill you build up revs then ease up on the throttle go slow then fast keep on doing that whenever you drive, for the first 10 hrs, change the oil and filter and your ready to rip! i got my valves checked at hrs but i dont think they needed adjusting but i would get them checked just in case. hope it helps,, proper break in will make your engine last longer but it can be a bother

Some agree, some disagree, but I have seen this happen more than once.
