King quad lowing blue smoke

Stocks it is home made. I did not build it, I bought it and modified it to my liking. It is not scary at all riding up the ramps. They just need to be long thats all. And I made it so I can drive on and drive off

took my bike in to the dealer 2 days ago for a leakdown test just to be sure and got it back today...he said that it stayed at a 100% pressure and didn't leak down at all....he did say I made a good move by going to the foam filter over the stock one.......guess I can sleep a little better at night now...

I looked at my quad today and it does show evidence of dirt in the intake. The bike has 1100 kms on it (I just got it) so I dropped it off at the dealer today for them to check into it. Some seem to be affected and others have no dirt issues. Pedrhaps they got hold of some bad filters or there is some other issue with the air intake, although those that have changed to foam do not report further dirt problems. We shall see.

The stock filter leaks at the foam gasket at the base of the filter.
If you must use the stock filter apply grease to the gasket between the filter and air box allso the filter material is not sutable for heavy dust conditions and dust can pass through the element. Rapidrobert...

I purchased a kingquad in november 05 and i've had problems with it ever since. The most recent problem I have with it is the motor. It has to be totally rebuilt $2000 just in parts. I beleive that the air filter was to blame. I took the air filter out and there was alot of dirt all over the butterflys in the carb. I can't beleive suzuki won't fix this problem.

Did you buy the king new or used ?
I am 100% shure that the air filter was to blame for the dirt on the throttle body.
I would call suzuki customer service and see if they will do anything for you,
If you have it at the suzuki dealer that you purchased it from for repair, they should be able to help you with dealing with the factory. Rapidrobert137
