Default Quadzilla Motor In LTZ400 Chassis

This is my hybrid Quadzilla/Z400. It made it's first run last week in Little Sahara. I rode it for 7 days, with only a few small problems such as bolts coming loose. I couldn't be more happy. I don't even want to ride my built LTZ400. And finally I don't miss my lt250r anymore. Let me know what you guys think.

Wow!!! I'm impressed! You did a great job, and it looks like Suzuki intended to put it in there...
I'll bet that's a pretty potent scooter now.. Too bad the factory can't/won't build it just like you did!!

Anyway, Nice work!

That's really nice work, Especially for fitting something that wasn't designed to be there...

My only question is... Why did you want a 2-stroke engine in a Z400?

Just Curious?

Why put a Quadzilla motor in a z400 chassis? There are so many reasons!!!! The main reason is the way a 2-Strokes feels. They are light and super fast motors. The Lt500 motor is over 50 hp bone stock. It is the fastest stock quad ever produced. It is way easier to pull extra hp out a 2-stroke. The best built Z400 motors might get 50hp. And then you are still pulling around more weight, and more rotating weight. While I got my bike about 30 lbs under a stock Z, it feels even lighter because of how the motor is positioned in the chassis. Then there is the sound of a 2-stroke. That fast reving tingy sound is great. It doesn't sound like a long fart like a piped 4-Stroke. And finally, anybody that has had 250r's, Banshee's, or a Quadzilla misses there old bikes. This is the best of of both worlds. I get the 2-stroke power that the manufactures can make anymore, and one of the best handling chassis ever. This bike may not be for everyone..It's my dream quad!!!!

Very impressive. It's nice to see that some of us are still in love with 2-strokes!

1Bad....
I did all the labor with the help of a few friends, including the powder coating, but the total cost so far is under $6000.
