Default Z250 does not float

This weekend we were teaching my sis in law to ride. She was doing great till we came upon a very deep pond. Need I say more? Anyway it sucked alot of water in the engin. We drained all the fluids, rebuilt carb, cleaned airboxout, refilled. It did start, ran it for about 1 min then drained new oil. It was like nuclear waste. Did several oil changes(about 6) and it got a little better each time but it is still coming out pertty milky. only ran it about 3 min each change. Any advice as to what to do would be great Thanks.
p.s. She did laugh and plans on riding again

Do you still have water in your piston?

Actually, I think it WILL float!

Someone told me that their quad was in really deep water and it rolled over upside down and floated with just a little bit of each of the tires showing above the water line. I guess there is enough air in those tires to support several hundred pounds of quad.

Not that this would have helped you any in this situation. Just adding some worthless information.
