The part number for the ozark cdi is 32900-05G00 and the part number for the z250 is
32900-05G10. So yes there is a difference. I went to and online FICHE and use it to interchange parts. Here is the website so you can be creative: www.prosourcemotorsports.com. I ported my head today and it made a noticable difference. Not the difference felt by the cam, but a little faster, maybe 1hp or so. It did add to my rev limit problem though. I'm starting to get pissed now because I keep adding power but can't really use it because of the stupid rev limiter. I think i'm gonna buy a z400 alba rev box asnd try to splice it in. I do need a bigger head pipe and carb now because I opened up the intake port to 32mm and the exhaust to 31mm. I am extremely surprised that I lost NO bottom end and if anything it more responsive. That sucker comes up in second now even though I lowered it. I'm gonna lower it a little more because I like how it looks. I think if this damn rev limiter was higher this thing would do over 60 mph. I'm going to call weisco and see if they plan on making a big bore kit. My goal is 65 mph and to outrun a stock 400ex. I won't quit until I make my goal. And I will post everything I do and what difference it makes.

nice quad styelz...and ltzguy, when are you gonna post some pics of that beast?!? and also ltzguy, why don't you just order a bug gun evo x, that way, you get a full system, and the big gun is pretty sweet looking as well, and tell us how it goes with the z400 rev box...

VERY COOL!!! Now we are getting somewhere!!

So if we could find some 1 1/4" menderal bent pipe, we might be able to make our own head pipe huh? Of course, this would only be beneficial after a head porting job was done. It might be easier to find 1 1/2" menderal bent pipe though.

We are both trying to get as much as we can out of these little 246 cc motors. Me for mudding and you for sport!!

Have you had a problem with your clutch slipping yet with the additional power?

if you did, you could just order a dp clutch kit which i'm pretty sure is only 25 bucks...

I called pro circuit today and I was pretty disapointed. First guy I talked to told me he would go pull a head pipe and measure it then call me back. I never heard back from him so at 4:30 i called again and the guy i talked to told me the pipe they sell is the same size??? I asked him why buy their pipe then and he told me its lighter than stock! Whats the point, the stock pipe is so damn lite already. What an idiot. I bet they are gonna sell lots of those head pipes cause an ounce or two will really wake up our bikes. Ha ha. Now, I really need some help.....I found in my service manual a wiring schematic for our bike including the CDI. Could someone PLEASE PLEASE find someone with a Z400 manual and scan the schematic page for the Z400 and e-mail it to me?? I plan on ordering an alba rev box as soon as I get this info. I feel quit sure I can adapt this box to my bike. I know if i get this done I can kick some 400ex butt. I have a friend that has a 400ex that needs a spanking. LOL anyway, I have some pics scanned but they are to big to load on here (i tried) so if anyone wants a few pics I can mail them to you.

I made a post in the racing section of a local (Texas based) ATV web site asking for this info. If I hear anything, I'll post it up here.

I know have a big chunk of change burning a hole in my pocket and begging to be spent on my Ozark!!!
