WhatS UP people...No i didn't get to see what it'll do in 5th just yet. I went and checked out a new riding spot and there wasn't a long straight for me to try without killing myself. But.....I did race my neighbor again to see the difference in my mods. He has a grizzly 660 that will do 68mph. The first time i raced him when i was stock he embarrased me. then i did the cam and jet kit, he beat me by about 5-6 quad lengths. Now with the ported head and pipe he barely beats me, about 1-2 quad lengths. He told me i made a huge difference in how fast it is. He said if i do anything else to mine he was gonna have to do more to his..lol. I talked to wiseco last week and they said a couple more weeks .. talked to maier also, they said new plastics for summer, good cause i want mine kawasaki green or black, undecided. The GPS I have is a Garmin forerunner 101, Now that I have it, I wouldn't even consider a speedo, no comparison whatsoever. Its only 99 bucks and you can but a handlebar mount for it, or you could get creative and mount it like it did...kinda looks like it came on the bike. Also, i bought a 400ex wire harness off ebay because i have a 400ex cdi box i was given, when it gets here i'm gonna try to make it work. I'm about to order a clutch kit for it because the clutch is slipping now. gonna try to put stiffer springs or something. when i get my piston i'm gonna put a bigger carb on it too.

I'd buy the same gps i have. I bought it from Target, it was $99. It does not have the capability for mapping. It will however, let you mark a starting point and record your traveling and lead you back to your starting point. Besides, you can't ride an atv on the highway, so the mapping would be useless. Believe me, it well worth the 99 bucks, especially when the trailtech computer cost you 80 bucks plus shipping and you have to run a cable to a magnet that you install in the brake rotor plus drill a hole in the metal guard by the rotor. The trailtechs backlight sucks, you can barely see it and the light stays on for about 3 secs. The gps's backlight is as bright as my dash light on my 06 civics digital dash. (bright) plus the display is bigger and is way more accurate and waterproof. The trailtech is not....kinda surprising when it was designed to go on an atv (all TERRAIN vehicle). I'll check into the dp clutch and prolly order it tomorrow if i can find out where to get it from.
