I'd look on ebay for z250 shocks for your Ozark. Who are you trying to convince in regards to the CDI box. I'll gladly call or email them to help out.

How about gears for the rear differential? Anybody pursuing that?

We were tryin to get either big gun, white brothers, or alba to make a rev box. As soon as we can convince them to, i'll be first in line.

I found a guy on ebay selling performance coils for the z250 from PHP racing. Anybody heard of this company?

I really don't think a coil would make a difference unless the compression was raised about 3 points, you had a cam and head ported. by the way, i picked up my gaskets last week so tomorrow i'm pulling the head off to port it. I had a little practice on my friends KLX110 last night. I ported the head and he did a big bore kit, cam, carb and pipe. He called me a few minutes ago and told me that its a death trap now. He raced his friend with the same stock bike and said it wasn't a race. I hope the head on my Z250 looks as bad as his from the factory. I have alot of experience in porting and flow testing automobile heads. I have learned you can't just take a grinder to a head and make it bigger. There is a certain shape that the airflow likes. Basically its not how much you take out, its what you take out. I'm trying to do one mod at a time to this bike so I can see whats the best bang for the buck. So far the cam is in the lead by a mile. I'll post the results on the head after its done. so far it'll go 58 mph. i hope i can hit 60 after this.

If you can go 58mph that tells me the cdi for the z250 is different. I top out at 45mph on my Ozark, it starts cutting out.

I agree. With 22 X 11 X 9 MudLites on the back, I got my Ozark up to 48 mph (GPS verified), but it was acting like it was hitting a revlimiter. Now that I have 25 X 13.5 X 9 Super Swamper TSLs, theoreticly, my top speed will have increased as long as my Ozark has the power to get there.

Hmm, now I want to go to a Suzuki dealer and see if the CDI part numbers on the two quads are differant.
