Good luck with that...
BTW, I updated my page with some pics from the ride last Saturday. They aren't the best quality because they are scans, but they're good enough. Dunbarr, Im emailing you a picture for your site that turned out crappy but now I think it looks kinda cool.

Assuming Z250s have about 13 horses this would give a 1.04 horse increase. Id say thats reasonable.
No this will not be my first, i own a 220 bayou right now. I ride creeks(about 1 to 1.5 feet of water depending on spot) and lots of trails(muddy). Most of you will think this is stupid but if i get a z250 ill be getting some 22 inch mudlights for it too. What could i add to make up for the tires besides a pipe and filter? What the difference between the ozark and z250 besides the plastic?

Mudlights on a sport quad, now that would be a site to see. I have thought of that 2, but you would loose acceleration. I would go with the ozark for the mudd IMO

I called suzuki (not the dealer) the other day and the guy told me the Z250 has 22-23 hp stock. Now, that rectifier thingy i think is crap. What it does it cut the charging to your battery more often than a stock one, result: dead battery more often. also it will only benefit if your battery is fully charged and your not using any juice....but i think when the bike is running it needs power to run the ignition.
I guess i am kinda fartin around and putting off the cdi box kinda hoping someone will start making one. I am gonna do the pipe soon tho,,,, i just took that puppy for a spin a few minutes ago and the ported head did make a good difference, it revs much faster. Man this thing runs. I can't wait to run that 300ex again. He's gonna be ticked. For those of you thinking about doing a cam, i'll describe a dead stop full throttle start: For the first 4 feet (not long) it feels like 3/4 throttle stock, then when 4 feet is up, hang on, hit the rev limiter and shift, its like that in every gear. Just to give you an idea how much faster it gets to speed, i'm the 4th lot on my street, and i can top out 4th gear (rev limit) in 4 lot lengths which are each about 75 feet wide and slam on the brakes so i don't run onto the highway.
