Use the same one for the Ozark. If you look at their website they have an installation page which list the kit for the Ozark.

The trail tech speedo for the z400 will work on the z250 with no problem. you will have to use some imagination to mount it unless you buy the mounting kit. the only thing i don't like about mine (got it working again....it got wet inside because i cracked the case taking it apart) is the backlight simply sucks. its really dim and it only stays on for 5 secs with no way to change it. thats where my garmin gps is waaay better, the backlight is bright and will stay on for as long as you set it to up until on always and then you justy press a button to turn it on and off. I do have some pics of it but they are to big to put on here. they are before i built the header and i just got through putting my 22" razrs on. it was a PITA. I'm very impatient and had to see what they look like so i made a tool to use on my press to break the bead and i hit myself in the eye with a prybar so now i got a black eye. Everyone at works gonna rag me lol. it looks pretty mean with 22" tires on it. although for some reason my grab bar never made it here. hopefully tomorrow cause i'm leaving out to go camping/riding for the weekend. anyone wants pics i'll gladly e-mail em to you. i need to get some pics of it with my new homemade header.

I thought you guys might get a kick out of a pic I just took. I just upgraded my front tires, and here is a pic that shows how much ground clearance I have now.

The front tires are 24 X 9 X 11 on stock rims, and I have a 2" lift on top of that, and I have 1 1/2" wheel spacers up front. Got ground clearance? lol!! Not too bad for a 250 eh?

Yea! i just gps the thing and it went from 45 mph on the limiter in 4th to 50mph. I think 60+ is in the bag now. I don't have alot of room in my neighborhood because i have a jerk of a neighbor farther down and he calls the police so i stay away. I'm going ride this weekend an i'll let ya'll know if i hit 60 mph. I forgot i have the pics on my other laptop that the screen got cracked so i'll take some more and put em on here....i might hook up a screen to down load em to this computer.

Holy crap!! Ya know, I am addicted to speed. I have to admit that 47 mph on my Ozark felt pretty fast goin down that one lane dirt road. Then again, it did have some pretty sharp corners on it. But anyway, 60 mph would be a rush for me which is cool, because it's getting harder and harder for me to get the adreneline pumping!!

i tell you i'm excited that this thing keeps getting faster and faster. i wish i could race a stock one just to see the difference. I don't think a speedo and hid lights would affect performance, if anything it should improve. I put hid lights on my 2006 honda civic coupe and it draws less current. as far as a speedo, it would be a tool to help you make it go faster. i'll tell you this, when i put my speedo on thinking my bike would do 55+mph stock it made it feel slower cause the speedo said 48mph and dissapointed me.....
