Yo 270Quadsport!!

How are you posting both as 270Qs and Albung???

And, have you had any luck on the oil cooler project?

that is sick dont seem like much nuts for having a turbo</end quote></div>

I thought the same thing at first, but when you think about equal cc's 2 stroke vs 4 stroke, it is quite impressive!

Randy, how could you forget to post this in THE 230 thread???

The moderators don't like it if I post the same thing in different spots and the turbo seemed like a different topic. This thread will be 100 pages soon, lol, and the cool turbo video would be buried right in the middle of it.

Can you beat a 240cc blaster that probably has other stuff done to it as well??? Just wondering. If so then that turbo is little more than dead weight.

I have never seen a blaster run.. All I know is my damn near stock ATC 250R, will ALMOST smoke brand new 450R quads all moddedup, in a drag race.. It probably weigh quite a bit less though.... I dunno

I've always figured a 2-stroke is about twice more powerful than a 4-stroke (or close to it). So, a 240 blaster would be about as fast as a 480cc 4-stroke quad. And it makes sense now that 450's are racing where 250 2-strokes used to. They are about the same speed. I can't wait to see what will replace the quadzilla (500cc 2-stroke).... a 1000cc 4-stroke would have to weigh 600lb dry.

Shaving the head n jug and a bigger carb is a good way to raise cylinder compression and increase HP. What size tires are you running on the back of the quad with the 39-13 gears?
