Looks like both those mounting holes have taken a beating at some time. I'd fill that top hole in, re-drill, and then cut you a new step for the bolt. The bottom one may need some work as well, once the area was cleaned to bare metal.

Well guys, i think i am going to take some time from the forums off. for those of you that need my email let me know. and for those who have my cell # shoot me a text. I got some family business to take care of and i have yet to sell my 230. So i have alot to do and a short time to get them done, so i might be able enjoy my winter time.

You're right. I looked a bit closer at the lower bolt and the case is chewed, but not through. That didn't stop some previous misfit owner from slopping the hole with JB Weld.
I haven't tried yet to remove that bolt. I hope I can.

What? No strike-through for text? Harumph!

Good luck trailrider, I hope you have luck selling your quad. On a side note, here are some pics of my new case saver and polished case, they are not best pics because I used a camera phone, but in two weeks when I get home I'm starting this thing and I'll get better pics then.

Got a left side cover?
Also looking for an aftermarket chain protector for that cover.

Let me know if you cant find a decent replacement and want to fix that one.

yep have a left side cover in mint condition. $75.00 bucks shipped. and $15.00 bucks for the chain cover guard. you can call me for more info. five seven zero-two three five-seven nine nine five. i have many others parts also names rich
