Well gents the Mistress went to a new home. She sold for $900. My craigslist ad did more help than ebay. who woulda thought that CL would out do eBay?

I ended up paying off some bills and got a $600 Nitro rc truck for $175. And i even bought another 230s for $100, all factory original, i think it needs a clutch and some electrical work but it was a good deal. The plastics dont have any cracks anywhere and all the bearings are tight, so i think i made out pretty good.

i might restore it to factory colors and make it show room new.

i ended up getting a 3.3 Traxxas Revo, so i think i got a good deal on it. The new 230 project is on hold for at least 10 months. After building them non stop for the last 3 years, this ol boy needs a break. I think i might take some time and enjoy my new toys for a while. I got the nitro truck and an RC plane to goof off with. And to top it all off a real plane to go fly and finish my pilots liscence. Hopefully this time my eyes will pass the test unlike last time i had my flight physical and had a touch of welders flash.

But i am not back in the big thread yet. I might check in once a week to see if there's any new people on, but thats about it.

later y'all

Quick question- Should the steering shaft have a bend in it? Or should it be straight? Mine has a bend backwards just above the top mount. The parts drawings don't show a good view of the shaft.
