I was thinking about a 70mm piston for my lt250s engine, but I don't want to pay $300 for it. Anyone else interested?

What's the highest compression ratio that people have been able to get away with on pump gas?
$125 is a deal, but why 70mm? 68.5 is stock for the 250 and the big bore kit is 72mm.

You could sell the other 3 on ebay fairly easy I would think.

Some of the big bore quads are 11 or 12:1 and run on pump gas. It depends how well you do your quench. 9:1 is too much with no quench.

The only reason I'd go with 70mm is to avoid the need to resleeve the jug. When I spoke with LA Sleeve, they didn't think any of their sleeves would work with the 250s jug.

I don't know, the guy on the phone just said it wouldn't fit. He did say that a good machinist might be able to modify it to make it work.

One of them must fit, because I have one. Call Kustom Kraft. He seemed pretty smart when I talked to him before. He did my big bore kit for the 230.

Pull the stator cover off and check flywheel and pickup coil. Sounds like you may have a loose wire somewheres.

That sort of thing happened to me once. It was a loose wire in the power coil in the stator. The vibrations caused it to break.

I belive they may have a resitor plug cap. Check inside where the plug goes i belive it would tighten with a screw driver. Also the plug cap screws into coil, give it a turn clockwise.
