I change my oil every ride, filter every 3rd ride. Probably too often, but better safe than sorry.

And Dang you did a hell of a job on that bike!!! Looks great!

omg i didnt do it i wish but im trying to on this second one sahzookie did the black one and he did a hell of a job on it its my turn on the orange beeter i bought another the other day makes 3 id say im hooked

That was the source of my cam oiling problems, I reccomend if its new to you, change it once every 16hrs for a good month or so, get all the crap out of the motor.

both guys really do try to help a mechanical idiot like myself i figure ill just keep buying until my wife leaves me they r alot more fun and havnt put on weight

Hadaveha, what did you use on your motor to make it black? I used Herculiner for my frame, handlebars, swingarm, a-arms etc, but not sure what I am going to do with the engine.

its just dupont hi temp alum spray paint it has gotten really brittle u can get it to scrap off with your thumbnail

Very slowly the Herculiner dries based off from the amount of humidity, so I live 7000ft above sea level in the middle of winter which means almost 0 humidity so waiting for the final pieces to fully cure and then will "quickly" reassemble the beast. Can't wait it's almost been a month now since I have ridden the damn thing.
