Hey bigmc... I was just wondering which adjustment screw on my carb adjusts the air, and which one is for fuel? my 230 seems to run best when the smaller screw to the left is all the way in, but I dont want to lean it out and burn it up. How do you usually adjust them??, by the way it runs fine, i just dont wanna burn it up.

Oh and hey for the kid with the grinding noise in his engine, Id use a screwdriver to listen to it while its running. Just hold the screwdriver on different parts of the engine, and place your ear on the handle of it, like a stethescope. Its an old trick, but it works extremely well GOOD LUCK

Oh and also, Ive got the aftermarket GOKI left side case set up for electric start, and the flywheel with teeth for the starter. I did away with my battery and tray that came with the kit, all i was missing was the starter motor, but Id rather just have the kick start anyways. I am looking to trade this electric start side case and flywheel for a factory left side casing with a factory flywheel. I have the battery tray, battery and all. IF ANYONE IS INTERESTED, PLEASE LET ME KNOW!

If the carb/engine is stock, The smaller screw is the Pilot jet screw. It should be at about 2 turns out. Check the color of your plug for a good burn, it should be light tan or gray.
