Are you looking for a chain tensor tool to check chain tension , or a chain roller to keep the chain tension in check?
I dont know of a tool for checking chain tension. Unless you count a ruler. The proper chain play is 1.5 inch's. Check it at the center of the chain once the adjustments have been made and the quad is back on the ground. Check it, or have someone else check it, while your setting on the machine.
The upper "bolt" supposed to be a roller. You can use a rollerskate wheel in a pinch. But only till you can get the correct part.
It helps keep the chain under control when the suspension is at full compression. This needs to be in place before you do any serious riding. The chain could jump off in a hard landing. Thats never a good thing.
Ebay has some good aftermarket chain rollers for sale.
The one im running came off a Banshee. So there should be an ample number of these out there.

I know we have touched on this in the last year. Somewhere. Oh well, I cant find it either.
The two calipers are identical. (Q.S. and Warrior)
I should say that this is not a mod but a source for a replacement part. There has got to be a Worry in your riding area. Do a stare and compare you will see for yourself.
While your there, the upper chain roller should look familiar as well.

Everybody, be shure to take a look at the pics for this quad, please. This has got to be THE nicest 230 out here. Yeah, I know, there needs to be more pics, but what can you do?

Good to hear from you MalHombre.

I tried to order a set a few months ago and they weren't available. Had to go with factory stuff which wasn't very cheap. I got some new ball joints off ebay for $25 shipped each.
