Default 85 to 88 Suzuki LT230S Quadsport help.

i got some good news today. the guy i posted about a few pages back with the 85 230s in his kitchen, is gonna give me the parts i need to fix my case problem. i got new rings and gaskets ordered up. so JR, i know its alot of #s, but could i get the torque specs i'll need to repalce the left side case, left case cover, and what i'll need to replace the rings.

as you can tell i forgot to order the repair manual when i ordered my parts. now it wont be here in time for the rebuild.

there is also a slight chance i can get the whole quad from him for $50. if so, im gonna put my engine in his frame and swap his front shocks and all four rims & tires out for mine.

Yeah it's crazy fast....as far as shocks I'm good for now but maybe sometime down the road. The 03's could have cracks around the gussets which I checked before buying but that has only happened in a few cases and involved big jumps which I won't be doing. It was a really good deal localy and I was the first to get to it, the guy had a lot of money and didn't understand what he really had so I bought it for $2400.

That was a steal! LOL the exhaust is worth more than the 230!!

Watch yourself on the 440's.... Change your oil AND filter every 150 miles or so, and get your valves adjusted every 5-600 miles... And since you are H2o cooled make sure your coolant is the "right" color EVERY ride..
