Well, looks like my deal on that ATV isn't going to work out. He's telling me now he thinks its worth a $500 PS3, not the PS2 and he had someone offer him $300 cash (I'm not sure I believe him). But, that's $300 bucks I don't want to spend.

Plus he avoided giving me the VIN and I don't want anything hot.

Oh well, I guess I'll sell the PS2 and sub and low ball that guy on ebay with the 250S front end again and see if he bites now that they've sat on there for a month.

Bigmc Like this post! im an old man too was 12 in 85 alot of these kids have no idea even how to work on their quad an they are talking about big bore kits, strokin it out, etc. I don't own a 230s now but did then, my dream was a lt250r! but spent my savings on the 230s. Lets keep these kids in line and teach em some old school 4 wheelin

Yeah, I'm still thinking $100-$200 for it. 230's are a dime-a-dozen really.

What kind of sub is it?

I was 12 in 85 too. Something happened though because I never grew up.

Wow you guys were busy while I was gone. I just got back from Hawaii and had to read 6 pages, good stuff.

I have those vent caps on my quads and they work well, I also needed a new cap for the LT and got one off a newer 250, it happened to have the built in vent, but they still have the tube nipple on there so I stuck mine back on it anyway.

To bad you did not get that quad, it is deffinately an 87/88. It has the bracketry for the plastic shroud around the headlight.

Randy you have it nice in GA for registering for sure, we have to register for public and private land use and if you have not registered it before you have to pay the sales tax!

Yeah, GA is like a free-for-all in terms of atvs. Street stuff is like a Fascist regime... Helmet laws, roadblocks on every curve, etc. But off road, nobody gives a hoot. Its not uncommon at all to go to the mountains and see guys with no helmet, no shirt, and his girlfriend riding on the back of a beatup old 250. Truly rednecksville.

Hopefully the do-gooders will stay to the north of me.

You still in the process of moving? Or are you back to work on the 230?
