I can't remember if I used pivot works or allballs when i did my wolverine bearings? Pivot works carries a decent name from what I have seen?

That is usually the case with disputes, you get your money but you have to give back the product you do not like. The shipping sucks.

Just Randy, the jury is still out with what I do with that roller or any slide. you are probably right on keeping as much as necessary off of the S's. How cool would it be to drink some beers or sake with the LT Engineer/s?</end quote></div>

Sake and sashimi, thats what I am talking about!
Maybe thats why they had so many flaws, those sake-bombs will jack u up!

Does Vince have anything left or is he fully sold out? Why has he stopped selling parts?</end quote></div>

You haven't talked to Vince yet??
Dude, the man is a wealth of 230 knowledge, but he talks more than my wife!
The way I understand it, just like most things, the $$$$'s didn't add up.
I think if he was a lil more high tech, he could of made a go at it. No paypal, no credit cards.. Bless his heart, when he actually used to send stuff, your first shipment was sent UPS C.O.D., every shipment after was sent with a "send me a check, whenever......"
Serious though, a quality individual, with a passion for what he does. Call him if you get a moment.

I've heard nothing but good things about him on here. It'd be cool if we could set him up with an ebay store in exchange for continuing 230 parts sales!

<div class="FTQUOTE"><begin quote>Originally posted by: atvman29Does it have the steel one stock? I thought it just came with that plastic guard?</end quote></div>

The metal thing is oem. Its like 3 bucks. I quit making them when I found out how cheap they were.

Paypal has deliberated already and they said I get a full refund, but I have to pay to ship it back!?! That's awfully dumb.</end quote></div>

Talk to your credit card guys.

If he wants the tierods back, he can pay the shipping and you won't charge him for the time n effort shipping them back. What a forking loser this guy is. Most ebay sellers are this way,,, in my experience anyway. Ebay is my store of last resort and I wouldn't buy their stock with YOUR money.

If I had an ebay store, I would not only refund your money, but send a box to ship the wrong parts back with paid shipping and a 10% coupon for future purchases and hope like hell you one day decide to buy something else. The customer is always right!

Has anyone tried either of these? I used Pivot Works on my a-arms and it was a nice kit.</end quote></div>

I have pivot works all around. No problems yet. Don't know about anything else.

Even though I had to re-engineer everything on the quad, I guess that would still be an interesting evening.

I told him these quads were coming back in popularity, but he'd have none of that. He said sales fell of a cliff when the 400's came out.

<div class="FTQUOTE"><begin quote>Originally posted by: PoolGod230Don't buy one, they are WAY too easy to make! I made several out out those cheap plastic kitchen cutting boards, several cause of the many sprocket changes!

Same material that chain "sliders" are made of and if you look @ vinces old site, his were the same.

Even if you made one out of super thin metal, it will serve its purpose ccos occurs, it will takr the punishment b4 the cast aluminum case.</end quote></div>

I know you mentioned the cutting board idea before, but I can never remember it when something like that would work just perfectly. I wonder if that stuff can be melted down and molded.... Is it thermoplastic or thermoset?

Yeah, we have two good Sushi places in the area, believe it or not the best one is in a strip mall! I have my B-day picture on the wall in that one. I love sushi and sashimi and sake and... It can get kind of pricy though.

I love the cutting board material, I never thought about trying to mold it. If it does not work, and the iece you want to mold is small enough, you could use a snowboard repair kit. they have sticks of material that you melt to fill guoges and such on the bottom of a board.
