Well, I am not a quitter, but I am done! Some Jacka$$'$ stole my ****!!!!!!!!!
Went on a weeks vacation and my 230's are gone!!! my big bore "turd" and her 3 donors, and all my F@cking parts and tools have been stolen!! 1 1/2 years worth of blood, sweat, and now tears.. bye bye. I could fu@cking kill someone right now!!!

Luckly I still have my 400ex and the ole lady's 230 and the kids 90ex (went on vacation with me) but I cannot deal with this ****!!!!

If any of you hear of a 230 deal coming from cali that is to good to be true, PLEASE let me know........... I would LOVE to catch the FU@KERS and introduce them to my knees, elbows, 9mm, 12 gauge, etc..........

I guess I have to join the piece of **** Honda forum now............

dude that so sucks. I have had quads stolen and there is little you can do abuot it . to bad I am know where near local or I would at least keep a look for ya.Totally proud you started that thread with "not a quitter"

i picked up an axle,carrier, and swingarm today all for $40, id say i got a good deal

hope we can help you out. parts can be a bizzatch to find but most are still available either on ebay or bikebandit.com & other sites.

 

I am still new here and learning by the day. Yesterday I cleaned all my tools from the rebuild and got everything set for the new project. I actually got the motor out, took off both side covers, and cracked all the bolts to the case. I did not crack her open because it was getting late. Tomorrow I get to see what is broken or severally bent.
If anyone has some suggestions, one of the few things I don't have for this quad is a carb. I am planning on replacing the carb I rebuilt for the one I ride and using it for the project bike. My question to all is which carb would be the best upgrade for me to locate. I have heard from this sites old threads that the lt250 carb isn't hard to use, is there a better one and if not what year 250 is good? Both of my bikes are 1987 lt230s models. I will try to remember to bring my camera outside so I can post some pics.
