Nothing better than testing the equipment after improvements.

Got my part #10 for the headlight today. That was fast. In perfect shape, bright chrome. Even has the original instructions! Maybe this will get me in the mood to work on the quad.

Chrome! That alone will give your quad another 5 hp. Should look nice. I need some pictures to inspire me Randy.

Something has to inspire me to get to work on it.

Me too. The weather has been helping, but I need more.

When it was cold my excuse was, "Its too cold, but by the time I build a fire and get it warm, I'll be too tired to do much." Now that's its warm my excuse is, "I'm too busy doing yard work, pond work, and generally a list of things I've been putting off till it gets warm." Sounds like I just plain do want to do it, lol. Can't blame me. Its a lot of trouble to clean everything and just to turn around and get it dirty again.

Well just do it one more time so you have pictures to prove it, then go out and beat on it for a while.

That's the plan. I've also been working on getting the paint off the engine. That's a tough job. Then, under the paint is a rough finish. But some steel wool and rubbing compound is making it pretty.

A sand blaster might make short work of the engine.

I wish I had one. I'm just doing the mag cover and clutch cover. The rest of the engine is kinda hinden anyway. The first things you'll see are the covers.
