well i decided to skip putting the lights on for now. i figure if i ever decide that i need them, i can get a small battery and wire the lights directly. i just don't forsee a real need for lights unless i want to go on a night-time dune ride and that's not happening any time soon.
i put the Maier nosepiece on and it actually looks pretty nice. my new spark arrestor looks sweet. i'll get some new pics up tomorrow

I don't care much for riding after dark on the QS. Too likely to clip a tree or **** off the neighbors.

I'd like to see the S.A. Since I really need something more permanent than a screen shoved up the pipe.

Last time I rode at night, I just wore my camping headlight over my helmet and it worked just fine, haha.

 

I'd be happy to get some riding in at all, but I'm a long way from that.

well, i found a laptop i like. i'm going w/ a Toshiba. a coupla friends have 'em and love 'em not that they know anything technical....LOL
it's got a centrino chip, 4g ram, 320g hd, vista premium and a 14.1" screen so it's small and light. got great reviews. $650 helluva deal!
