Nope, not yet.

Are you running the stock rear axle?
Yep.

Anyone know where I can get a replacement for that long a$$ bolt that goes through the motor and is also the rear peg mount bolt for the left peg? The stock one is 315mm I believe, but the DG nerfs included a longer one to make it long enough for their spacers that was just a cheesy little thread rod with a nut welded onto one end. Do they make high grade thread rods that could work for that?

All I can find is a grade 10mm, grade 8.8, 1m long thread rod @ McMaster-Carr. I suppose I could cut it to length.

I don't know. When I lived in a big city, things like that were easy to find. Why does it have to be so strong? Did you break one?

Yeah, I dam near sheared them off when I was jumping. My foot pegs probably would have broken off but the nerf bar nets stopped them!

So your bones are stronger than steel, lol.

Just drill the holes out bigger and use bigger rod. I wouldn't fool around with aircraft grade bolts that cost a gagillion dollars. Get the shop at school to cut some threads for you on some rod from Lowes or something.

I guess drinking milk my whole life has payed off!

Actually, I was quite surprised that the class 8.8, 1m thread rod rod was only $7.62! A class 8.8 thread rod should suffice, shouldn't it? Its good for 600 MPa in a proof load test. Grade 8 standard is 827 MPa.

I can tell ya from experience 8.8's suck! I can easily twist the heads off anything 8.8. 10.9 is much tougher. 8.8's are the cheap ones the car manufacturers use everywhere but the most important parts. They're like grade 5 standards. Cheap.
