Well it still might be easiest and cheapest to get a 230S swingarm off ebay to modify. But check and see how 86qscamo's job is going, I haven't looked lately.

I wouldn't do it. Tires are pretty easy to come on craigslist, especially new take-offs. I just think 25" tires would ruin the handling, make your wheeler extremely tippy and it would slow you down a lot. 25" tires are for big utility wheelers that have the power to turn them.

For comparison, most people on here like 20" tires for their 230, and the lt-r450 comes with 18" tires! I don't even think the King Quad comes stock with 25s.

Where are you located? I have an extra set of 22" rears I'm trying to sell for $60. They're pretty much like new.

I am looking at a cheap set of shocks from the Yamaha 660. It looks like the back should be ok i am just not sure about the fron shocks.

Thanks Brian

Search for one of Randy's posts where he has a link to the Works website (the suspension company). I believe that page has the shock lengths on it.

I should put those on the site too now that I think about it.

My guess is the Raptor's shocks are going to be a lot longer.

Sometimes I think my 20 inch tires are too big. But I guess it all depends on what you're trying to accomplish.

No problem, good luck searching. Also, if you're getting rims too, keep the bolt pattern in mind.
