I just checked between the 92 and an 86 and Bike Bandit shows different part numbers. So yeah, you would think they'd be the same, but who knows!

do ya think it will still fit?

The bend of the header is different than my stock pipe but it looks like maybe it will still work...idk. Both my twin lt230s mufflers are rotted right out, and I thought 99 bucks on ebay was a good deal for a cobra replacement. I heard they are loud but we only use these as workhorses at my cabin, I have a 07 YZ250f to play around on

Hmm, I'm not sure. One would think so....but then again who knows! Also, $100 for a Cobra system isn't bad, but check this out:

Cobra Megaphone ATV Exhaust System - DennisKirk.com

You'll get free shipping if you're in the US, plus they ship it with a free return label if it doesn't work for you. Worth 10 extra bucks to me!

You could do some research on Dennis Kirk because they showed some DG systems for your 92 230E. So you could see if they're the same ones that fit the 230S. Maybe the Cobra would be a perfect fit.

nice! I would hope they are inter-changeable... doesn't really make too much sense not being. BTW I own the exhaust already so Im gonna try and put it on tomorrow...Do I need anything besides the header/flange/muffler? Maybe a gasket or a clamp for the header to muffler connection?

Its for the DG pipe, but you'd think they'd be similar.
