Do all of the lt230s use the same clutch disks? I have been searching through ebay and cant seem to find anything other than cheap looking sets.

You guys want to see the deal of the century (If everything is as he says it is)?

KFX LTZ DVX 400

It sounds like I'm second on the list.....One guy has it on hold to look at it today. How sweet of a deal would that be? I looked on eBay and you're looking at around $200 in parts is all. Then its a $2000 wheeler you paid $900 for!

Atvman, i got some before pics of my 230s up in my album. I figured in the restoration gallery a before and after photos would look neat. kinda give the reader an idea on how much work goes into a restore project.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking too. I'm going to be on spring break this next week so I should have some time to goof around with it.

Ok, i'm getting ready to start getting the new bearings for the hubs and a- arms. i failed to inspect the hub bearings and the left hub bearings were fried. i didnt notice the bearings were bad til i went to mount the hub on the spindle. the hub didnt exactly spin very freely. the race and ball bearings were purple in color. so the guy that had my donor QS was prettty lazy when it came to maintence.

I put the Polaris back together last night and threw it up on Craigs for $1200 and I can't believe how many emails I've received! One guy surprisingly wants to trade for a 2004 Trailblazer 250, which I would do, just to get the newer ATV, and a different guy offered me a whole bunch of little dirt bikes. lol

Hopefully I can get rid of this thing. I don't think I'll have any trouble considering spring is just around the corner.
