wow, those meats make my gators look like rubber bands. im going to see if i can find some longer rear shocks when i replace mine. did the extra angle have and negative effects on your drive shaft or did it not change the angle enough to talk about?

Nah, that was like 2007 or 8 and I've been pulling 2000lb+ loads of dirt for 3 yrs with it. If anything was gonna break, I woulda broke it! I did crack the axle at the diff though, but I welded it back. No biggie. Too much weight on the ball.
I burn through a lot of clutches and intake valves though.

im going to do that. id love to have an extra 3-6" of clearance. with all the rocks i play in, that would be real nice. i need to reinforce my skid plate badly, its all bent up. ive had to bend it down twice to cover the drain plug.

So I'm fixin to put my 36t sprocket on the back and I see the 250s axle I bought a long time ago laying there.... Now I'm thinking "If I want to put it on, now is the time", but do I really want a longer axle? I already know the front is what keeps it stable in a turn. Hell, I could put just 1 wheel in the back and probably turn about as good! Check out the can am spyder: http://www.besportier.com/archives/2...t-roadster.jpg
So, if it isn't going to help me turn, what exactly is it going to do for me? Stick out farther so I'm more likely to clip a tree on a technical turn??? Put more stress on my swingarm bearings??? Throw me side-to-side more on a bumpy trail??? Suddenly I don't think its worth it....
