trailrider, what hardware did you use to bolt on your bumper? i bought one and a grab bar the other day and the bumper didnt have hardware. 7/16" 1.5" wide u bolts?

ive got all my parts and the entire frame is painted. so is the front suspension, got it all back on. im working on fixing the swinger now. i hope to have it fixed, painted, and put back on next week. then the engine work.

if you ordered it from PRM, just call them and tell them that there was no hardware with it. they should make it right with you. but other than that i am not sure what they used for hardware.

Alright, who in here has split there engine cases? there is a spring that attaches to the left side crank case half and to the trans. anyone got an easy way to put that back on? the way i did it is to time consuming and doesn't always work. it is a royal pain in the butt and any tips or easy solutions would help.

i am getting ready for a complete engine overhaul so be prepared for more pics.

Have you done a compression test? That was happening with mine. It would run fine, I shut it off in the middle of a ride and unless I let it cool way down, it would not start. It was because of a bad head gasket.

there is an easy way to tell if your topend is leaking. if you are lucky enough to get it to fire up, spray startin fluid around the head and intake boot. if it idles up and dies you should know where the leak is. it is a cheap alternative and pretty much isolates where there problem is.
