if you found a set with rezzies thats a bonus, get em. stock did not have rezzies. but they should work fine if they are off an 85-88 250r.

thanks! im going to the shop tomorrow to put on the PRM products, finish the wiring, and roll that baby back out and carry the engine in. i decided on black plastics. i figured a royal blue frame and aluminum suspension it would really stand out under the black.

alright. i got some work done today for sure. put the rear brake caliper on with its parking brake block. skid plate, bars, and all the wiring is done. it took some doing to rewire half the harness to use the new switch but its all finished. the bumper and grab are also on. its been pushed out and covered up in our atv shed and i brought the engine in the shop. soon as i get some time, im pulling the head, and re-ringing it, putting in the cam, and bolting her all back together. i can see the finish line now.

Got the 250r front shocks today (less than $45 shipped!) There's a picture of them in the quadsport album on my profile...they look great, have next to no rust but the bottom rubber bushings are kinda worn out. Is there a kit out there to replace this or do I get to fab up some rubber mounts?

nice dude...
fml, the lt230's are startin to pi**** me off ...
i was going down a hill today, flying as usual and tried rear brake and i realize i have no brake pressure... better yet my front brakes are almost worn out, so they suck and i almost crashed into several trees but luckily i saved her
so got to bottom of hill and i see liquid( brake fluid) on my chain tighting screw on left side... smelled it and yep its brake fluid. so i came home and didn't get a chance to dick with it yet. while im at it, i have fresh brake pads from front and rear so im going to replace them. I HAVE A QUESTION, CAN YOU PLEASE EXPLAIN HOW TO CHAGE FRONT AND REAR BRAKE PADS...

Thanks Ryan

hunter,
remover the caliper first. on the back, there are 2 bolts that hold the rear pads in. take those out. push the piston back in. replace pads. reassemble.
i imagine the front is similar but ive never changed mine so i cant say for sure.
